Ebony Morrison Qualifies Liberia for 2022 World Athletics Championships

Liberia has qualified to participate in the 18th edition of the World Athletics Championships, from July 15-24, 2022, in Oregon, Eugene, Hayward Field at the University of Oregon, United States of America.
Liberia will join over 100 nations to compete  for medals at  the  World Athletics Championship.
Liberia-US international based athlete,  Ebony Morrison, 26,  qualified her country by reaching her personal best time of 12.74 seconds in the Women 100 hurdles at 2021 Tokyo Olympics in Japan.
On Sunday,  Ebony Morrison  ran 12.74  beating her yesterday (Saturday)  record of 13 seconds by 0.3 seconds.
 Though, she dropped in the semifinals of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics,  she had set a new record of her best time (12.74 seconds) which automatically qualified her, by extension, Liberia; at the

She had also qualified to get
scholarship from the Liberia National Olympic Committee ( LNOC) in the USA..
The World Athletics Championship will be held in the United States for the first time ever.
